Junior Sailing School

Every June, the CBYC holds a week long no cost training camp for youths from the ages of 10 through 18. Two classes for beginning and advanced include swim tests, safety rules, sailing terminology, stategies and "hands on" sailing practice, all under the supervision of parents and adult CBYC member sponsors. The week culminates with a Junior Sailing Regatta followed by an awards ceremony for the race winners and a number of other categories.

Many of our current sailors in the club have taken these classes as youths and gone on to become club champions. If you would like more information about how to get started, contact us.
